Danny Gokey debuted in 2 commercials for Wisconsin Vision, according to Fox Milwaukee. Above is one of the commercials, where Danny dreams about owning a million pairs of glasses, having a dog with glasses, a baby with glasses, and a wife with glasses. Really? “The perfect wife?” Doesn’t anyone remember last season when he was breaking down in tears because his wife died?! Gokey clearly didn’t write the script or have any say in the production of this terrible commercial.

Kris Allen’s second single is going to be “The Truth” featuring Pat Monahan of the band Train. Pat sings the bridge in this version. While it may be a wise move to try to latch onto Train’s fans since their terrible song “Hey Soul Sister” is doing well right now, the bridge sounds terrible. It just sounds like a more off-key and gravelly thrown-in-a-blender-with-dying-cats version of Kris. Apparently Kris’s label isn’t too keen on his success.

(CBS) A Michael Jackson impersonator has gone “Off the Wall,” say Michigan police who have charged the 22-year-old with molesting an 11-year-old boy.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said Friday that Ricardo West of Allen Park has been charged with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct, using a computer to commit a crime and accosting children for immoral purposes.

Worthy says the incidents occurred between March 15 and April 9 at a home in Allen Park, 10 miles southwest of Detroit. She also says sexual contact was made with the victim at the Allen Park Auditorium.

West also worked as a driver for a private bus company that transports children to events.

The real Michael Jackson also battled accusations that he had inappropriate contact with several boys. In 2005, he was acquitted of charges that he molested a 13-year-old child. Earlier, he paid millions to the family of another 13-year-old who accused him of molesting their son. Jackson denied it and no charges were brought in that case.

West is being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail pending an April 26 preliminary examination.
